Brian visits!!

The past few weeks have been so busy, Brian and Takki came last weekend for a few days to see me, and Cos. It was so nice to have some friends from Baltimore in town! Here are a few pictures...

This past weekend my sister Melanie came to spend the weekend with Cos and I. Her flight arrived 2 hours late which kind of was annoying-however we made our way over to UMI Sushi. This place is AMAZING! Probably one of the best, most fresh sushi joints I have ever been to.
We took a little tour of the downtown scene. Mel has never been to Pittsburgh so we tried to show her as much stuff as possible in a 48 hour period of time!

Saturday, Cos's parents came up and took us to lunch. They also brought Melanie a mini cake from my favorite bakery in Weirton - "Gus's Goodies". White cake with Strawberry filling (hm I wish I had some right now.)

That night his sister Lisa and our friend John joined us for a nice dinner at Bravo's

Saturday was also Alyssa's birthday so we got a table at a new nightclub called Whim. Here are a few pictures!

Happy New Year!!

Hope that everyone spend their NYE and New Years Day doing something fun - whether it was with family, friends...whoever!!
2009 was a special year! Meeting Cos in May, moving here to Canonsburg in October, weddings, babies... it was just a great year all around. Every New Years I always ask myself "What was I doing one year ago?" and "What will I be doing one year from now?" My predictions for the upcoming year are never right!! haha.




NYW 2009 was pretty laid back. We had dinner with our friends Jeff & Alyssa Feaster, Alyssa's sister and our friend John. We ate at a nice Italian place called Papa J's. I had a chicken dish, and although I didnt really care for it, it was still a nice evening. Then, we went to our friend Lindsay's house to see the ball drop. I cant believe that all those people stand out there in the cold in Times Square!!! They are crazy.

Anyways...Cant wait to see what 2010 holds for me, Cos, Versace and everyone else! :)

Here comes the Bride!! Jill marries Tyler!

This past weekend was SO much fun! Friday afternoon I drove to Wellsburg, WV and picked up Jill from her parent's house. We packed my car TO THE BRIM with things needed for the wedding (ie bridal party gifts, Jill's Mexico suitcase, and some other things) and headed to Wheeling, WV to Oglebay Resort. Oglebay is beautiful!! Its a "cabin/chalet" style resort in the mountains of West Virginia.
We had an hour to unpack the car, and get Jill showered and ready for the 5:00pm rehearsal. Cos works in Wheeling so he came by to help us bring everything up. I dont think I have actually ever seen Jill get ready so fast. Somehow she managed to shower, shave, dry/straighten her hair, and get dressed in about an hour! The rehearsal went SO smoothly, everyone did great and the dinner at Oglebay was delicious! We had crab stuffed mushroom caps, rice pilaf, roast beef, salad, fish and an array of desserts!! Then, the whole wedding party headed to the bar for a few drinks. All the girls stayed in a room, 6 girls...2 beds! LOL it was like a big slumber party! I dont think we slept too well, we were all excited!

Today I got to spend a few hours with my friend Jill. We went to Robinson Towne Center and did an afternoon of shopping, talking, and having an all-around good time!! Jill is getting married this Saturday, and I am in her wedding! :) So we went shopping for things for her honeymoon. It was just like old times - hahah!!! Just made me happy today having some QT girl time!!

Hair Color

Sooo after 2 years of having dark brown/black hair, I have changed it up a bit. I really love mixing up my look. I have had blonde hilights, and now I have RED! It looks very pretty mixed in with the black. It took 3 hours to get the black out, and put the red in! But I am happy with the result. Who knows how long I will keep it up, but for now I am enjoying the change. I call it my Bella Swan/Kristen Stewart 'do! Haha. Here is a picture, you cannot really see but its all I have right now!
